Hi! I’m Mike, owner of Black Sheep Films – a wedding film maker based in Brighton on the sunny South East coast, though I love to travel to whichever beautiful location you have chosen for your big day.

I make cinematic wedding films that transport you back to your wedding day, allowing you to relive all the special moments with the same intensity and feeling.

My aim is to produce a beautiful film that tells the authentic story of your wedding – all the little details that you have spent months or years (or decades!) preparing; the beautiful moments and the ridiculous, the tears and the laughter. I want you to be able to watch the film back and experience the same sensations you felt on your big day, with the same depth and intensity.

I use minimal equipment, aiming to blend in to the background of your wedding. So no huge lights, tripods or shoulder-mounted camera rigs. For most of the day I use a single handheld camera, allowing me to shoot discretely and stay unnoticed. This means that you and your guests are able to enjoy the day and feel at ease, and that the moments I capture are genuine and authentic reflections of all your favourite people.
